Sing me a song of love and light- what secrets you hold, what mysteries. Raw and naked I stand before you, ready to receive your gifts. Widespread promises of sweet surrender. You are with me always, though you obscure yourself, and only reveal yourself in reflected light. It is not my place to know you fully, but to be blessed by your touch, as light as a butterfly’s kiss. I am not afraid of the demons with which you surround yourself. They are there to protect you from the unworthy. And to protect those that come to you by moonlight, with honor and care. I accept your gifts, with my heart open, eyes closed, you fill me with wholeness. Be with me, now, in my time of pain and healing. Carry me dow the river of my ancestors, connect me with your ancient wisdom. My offering is the bones of my dreams, whose ancient alchemy only reveals itself in the shadow. I will dance to your sweet sorrowful song, here, in the light of your love.
